Mondelēz China Donates Over 2,000 Boxes of Relief Goods to Earthquakes Affected Areas in Yunnan

Shanghai, August 7, 2014 – After a 6.5-magnitiude earthquake hit Ludian County in Zhaotong City of Yunnan Province, Mondelēz China immediately contacted local civil affairs bureaus and organized a donation of more than 2,000 boxes of biscuits worth over 350,000RMB from the company’s warehouse in Chengdu, and sent these relief goods to the earthquake-stricken areas.

Stephen Maher, President of Mondelēz China, said, "We want to express our deepest sympathy and condolences to the people affected by the earthquake, and we sincerely hope our relief goods will help to alleviate their urgent needs."
