Mondelēz China Donates Over 2,000 Boxes of Relief Goods to Earthquakes Affected Areas in Gansu Province

Shanghai, July 24, 2013 – After a 6.6-magnitiude earthquake hit Minxian and Zhangxian counties in the city of Dingxi, northwest China's Gansu Province on July 22, Mondelēz China (the former Kraft Foods China) immediately contacted local civil affairs bureaus to identify the needs of the people, quickly organized a donation of 2,165 boxes of biscuits worth over RMB 270,000, and sent these relief goods to the earthquake-stricken areas.

Shawn Warren, President of Mondelēz China, said, "We want to express our deepest sympathy and condolences to the people affected by the earthquake.  And we sincerely hope our relief goods will help to alleviate their urgent needs."
