Golden Oreo, a new member of the Oreo Family, debuted in many supermarkets across China in late May

Unlike the “Black & White” Oreo that everyone is familiar with, Golden Oreo presents a brand-new look with chocolate and strawberry flavored fillings sandwiched between crispy and golden cookies.  Golden Oreo’s family includes single-pack, family-pack, mini-cup, and bulk products to meet the diverse needs of Oreo fans.

 
To celebrate the birth of Golden Oreo, MDLZ Beijing Biscuits plant held a ceremony on May 14th. Shawn and China BOMs, together with key customers and industry association leaders witnessed the birth of Golden Oreo with the employees. “2013 will be the Year of Golden Success for Mondelēz China. I am sure Golden Oreo will create delicious moments of joy for our consumers, customers and employees.” said Shawn at the celebration.
 
Sales regions across China also held events to celebrate the in store listing of Golden Oreo. Sales Eastern Region held Golden Oreo debut consumer event at Suzhou’s Auchan Supermarket on May 24th, 1,000 lucky consumers built a Golden Oreo Great Wall measuring 6 meters long and 3 meters wide with 1,000 pieces of Golden Oreo biscuits. At the event, Mondelēz China teamed up with Auchan to donate 30% of the day’s sale from all MDLZ China products to Kraft Hope Kitchen.
