Mondelēz China (former Kraft Foods China) entered the China market in 1984 and is a leading company in snacks business including biscuits, candy & gum and beverages. Former Kraft Foods completed the spin-off on October 1, 2012 and was separated into two independent companies, including the global snack business Mondelēz International, and the North American grocery business. Mondelēz China is officially renamed as of July 1, 2013 upon its completion of the legal procedures. The Chinese name Yi Zi (亿滋) represents the company’s vision to bring an abundance of delicious to consumers.

Mondelēz China owns many popular and favorable brands in China, such as Oreo, Chips Ahoy!, belVita, Tuc, Pacific, Uguan, Prince, Stride, Trident, Halls, Choclairs and Tang.

Headquartered in Shanghai, Mondelēz China has  6,000 employees across the country and established seven manufacturing facilities in Beijing, Suzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Jiangmen, established nearly 40 sales offices nationwide, and built a China and Asia-Pacific Biscuits Research and Development Center in Suzhou.

In 2009, the company’s China and Asia Pacific Biscuits R&D Center was established in Suzhou. Apart from the state-of-the-art pilot lines, and consumer tasting labs, the center also equipped with advanced product designs and food quality control technologies which allow Mondelez China to launch innovative products to consumers.
